I'm going to school right now for an Associates in Medical Coding... The classes are kinda tough, but very interesting. You have to learn Anatomy and Medical Terminology along with everything else.. it's like 108 credit hours total... but when you're done with school you have a wide variety of places to work... hospitals, nursing homes, insurance companies, private practices, specialty practices... you name it.What are some pros and cons of becoming a medical coding specialist?
