are you a software professional (programmer) ? do you face difficulties in coding? do you feel ';i wont be able to do it'; ? how do you overcome such situations?Coding....?
how can anybody predict ur situation without any of ur detailsCoding....?
I hit those spots from time-to-time. They way I can break thru is usually by taking myself out of the situation altogether, or trying to look at it in a different way. For example I may hand write instead of type code to get a new perspective on it.
If that doesn't work, I bounce ideas off of people, even when they have no idea what i'm talking about it's a big help to me to get the idea out verbally.
Good luck!
i do face difficulties but it's about your attitudes and how see things if you them hard they will be hard if you see them easy they will be easy so have they right attitude
It depends if you're stuck because you're lacking informations or because you're not qualified enough in the language. I am actually putting a big project up from scratch, and that's a lot of learning.
I face both problems, sometimes I'm having problems coding something because I'm just not informed enough to completely understand and get a clear idea of how I should code it, the rest of the time I just don't know there's already a function for it, or which one was it, already?
So I read. I'm actually midway in some books; one in HTML/CSS, one about Java, another about software RAIDs, another about the new Linux distribution I want to try, and I think I'm forgetting one. I also had to use some C and SH the other day... with MySQL and.. well anyway.. If you put it all together, that makes a lot of subjects.
There is also the tiredness factor... When you're doing something you like, something you are in such a hurry to get results with, you often go to bed late, and deceived because you were stuck on something before you decided to go sleep because you were really bored... The morning of the next day, you look at the same problem, and sometimes you don't really feel like it's a problem anymore.
Another VERY USEFUL thing I added lately in my office is a 4' x 3' whiteboard, to use with markers... It really helps to take a particularly hard problem and to play with it on a board (it might be sheets of paper too), it gives me another way of seeing the problem, and often it helps my so limited short time memory to care about every little details of the problem at once.
That's about it... You can also ask for some help too, sometimes! :)
Yeah, discussing the problem often allows you to see things that you otherwise would not notice offhand. Often when I'm in a situation like that I will talk to a friend, family member, someone I'm dating, etc., and though I'll quickly watch their eyes glass over, it usually helps me to see a better approach, or a way around the problem presented. This is very helpful to me...
I hope that helps.
